Toa Payoh Hwa Heng Beef Noodle is a hawker stall serving delicious beef noodles with portions of beef slices, brisket, tripe, beef balls and noodles. Toa Payoh Hwa Heng Beef Noodle has been around for many decades and currently located at Bendemeer Market & Food Centre.  Three aunties were cooking up these mouth watering beef noodles at the time of my visit.  Just looking at them concentrating in making such a dish makes me appreciate the dedication put into every single beef noodle bowl. 

 

 

Making a beef noodle bowl is hard work and moreso given the endless queue throughout the afternoon.  When you order, the beef noodle is prepared on the spot right in front you. The process starts with two aunties, one auntir with white hat cooks up the juicy beef ingredients and the second auntir with short straight hair supports to complete the mouthwatering beef noodle bowl.  The third auntie with curly hair takes customers’ orders and serves the dishes for them to take.

 

I got the dry mixed beef noodles poured with that huge starchy dark gravy that smothered all the beef slices, brisket, tripe, beef balls and noodles; and topped with that crunchy bean sprouts.  The gravy compliments very well with the beefy taste with the right balance of sweetness and saltiness.  Mixing together the beef ingredients and noodles with this gravy, each bite I take is full of richness and flavor that enhances the beef flavor even more.

 

 

You can choose to get the beef mixed beef noodle soup as well.  The broth is mild in saltiness with aromatic beefy taste.  It is the recommended to have this to simply be in delight of the simple ingredients that comprise this dish.  The broth gives focus to enjoy the natural juicyness of the beef and noodles.
